Supporting sample 2 ยท Adapted view of the original design

A curriculum organised around application

The retained specification contains four modules and 54 numbered design entries. These descriptive module labels are editorial summaries; the entry counts come from the source design.

Module 1: Reflect and establish context

11 design entries

Recall prior experiences and distinguish negotiation from the wider sales process.

Module 2: Understand and prepare

19 design entries

Introduce the shared approach, preparation tool, knowledge checks and supporting resources.

Module 3: Apply and reflect

14 design entries

Plan for a simulated scenario, apply the planner to a real opportunity, identify roles and reflect.

Module 4: Assess and consolidate

10 design entries

Work through two practical exercises with feedback and consolidate the learning.

Where the time was invested

The application module contains a 30-minute simulated-planner activity, a 45-minute real-opportunity activity and 15 minutes of reflection, alongside instructions and role-related activities. The emphasis is visible in the planned learning time.

A usable handover

Each design entry connects an objective with proposed screen content, resources, an estimated duration and developer notes. This makes the intended learner experience more concrete than a topic list.

Status of the design

The design allocates an estimated 207 minutes across four modules. The curriculum and specification were handed over for course development.
